Zwakala River Retreat is a perfect place to chill and get away from the stress of the city life. Our Limpopo self catering accommodation is simply beautiful and we have chosen not to have electricity. Instead we believe that the simplicity of candle light and lamps, steaming hot water from a donkey boiler and a 'lekka' fire make for romance, talking, dreaming and togetherness. |

Camp Site:
Our Limpopo camping site is situated next to the relaxing Broederstroom River. Experience the quietness and the beauty of the stars at night. The gurgling of the river over rapids and small waterfalls will ensure the best sleep ever. |

Craft Centre:
There is also a craft centre on the farm where a range of decor products are woven from invasive plants. The co-operative members will welcome you to come and try out your ancient weaving skills. These woven products can also be purchased on the farm. |

Indigenous Medicinal Plants:
The is a nursery on our premises where we grow indigenous medicinal plants. Here we also dry indigenous flowers and make medicinal teas. The following indigenous medicinal plants are available at Zwakala River Retreat:
