Zwakala River Retreat is situated on a privately owned farm in the beautiful Magoebaskloof Mountains in the Limpopo Province. We offer unique Magoebaskloof accommodation that includes cosy cottages and a peaceful camping site, located next to a tranquil river in the breathtaking mountains.
The cottages and the campsite are right on the banks of the Broederstroom River - the source of the Great Letaba River. The river is perfect for trout fishing, tubing and swimming and it is renowned for its clear waters and restorative qualities. Jump into the mountain waters and revive your soul! Legend also has it that once you have drunk the waters of the Letaba River you will always return.
We are very privileged to live on this little piece of Africa and would like to share with you a slower pace of life. Come and meet our three horses, five dogs and four chickens and when they are home, our three children and usually some more friends.
